Don’t worry about the pronunciation — I care more about clarity where it counts. Like in your product.
My approach to content design
As a Senior Content Designer, I have a passion for making complex experiences feel effortless. For nearly a decade, I’ve partnered with cross-functional teams to craft content that reduces friction, builds trust, and helps users take action with confidence.
My approach is rooted in empathy — not just for what users are doing, but how they’re feeling when they show up. Whether someone’s navigating a tax workflow or troubleshooting a payment issue, they’re often stressed, bored, or frustrated. My job is to meet them there — with clarity, compassion, and no ego. That means anticipating confusion before it happens, guiding them without condescension, and always remembering that nobody came to your product just to read.
I specialize in data-driven content strategy, user experience, and systems thinking—whether it’s shaping a new product from scratch or refining what’s already there. Great content isn’t about adding more words; it’s about making the right words work harder. If I’m doing my job well, I’m writing less, not more.
TL;DR: I’m not here to sound clever — I’m here to help users get sh*t done with ease and confidence.
Experience that shaped my practice
I spent nearly seven years at Intuit, shaping UX content across four major products in the QuickBooks ecosystem — including QuickBooks Online, Accountant, Advanced, and Live Experts. In that time, I led weekly peer reviews, mentored fellow content designers, contributed to scalable design systems, and sharpened my content strategy practice. I also regularly led customer interviews and content research, helping ground product decisions in real user insights.
Before that, I was the sole content designer at Sunshine — a weather app offering real-time fashion and beauty advice based on the forecast. I owned everything from push notifications to in-product copy to social media and community management. It was the first time I got to see my words directly impact someone’s daily life — and it’s what made me fall in love with building tech that’s human.
Fun facts
A few years ago, I wrote a thirty-minute comedy pilot loosely based on my experience being homeschooled. It made it into the second round at the Austin Film Festival, so I’m basically famous. Please respect my privacy. 😎
I love language, accents, and dialectic idiosyncrasies. I pride myself on being able to pinpoint someone’s accent exactly and adapt to their regional vernacular.
I’m into tarot and astrology, but I promise I’m not a kook.
